Yellow Point Lodge BC
I just came back from the Yellow Point Lodge on Vancouver Island. Although it rained off and on over the 4 days we were there it was a great time. I was able to paint two pen and ink with water colour pantings. I went on several resourse material walks and was able to catch some excellent drift wood photos along with quail in the natural setting of the forest, very interesting bent and twisted trees on the wind sept beach. The beach was also very interesting with it’s tide pools and sea eroded rock. The rock looked like swiss cheese with its holes and wiggly ridges left still standing inches above what looked like sand stone. I look forward to using some of these images in my next paintings.
